In collaboration with Optimized Gas Treating Inc. (Texas, USA), a special one-day workshop on Gas Treating Design & Simulation with ProTreat will be held on Monday June 9th, 2025 in Calgary, Alberta at the Calgary Petroleum Club. This workshop will cover designing and simulating (1) natural gas treating, (2) carbon capture and (3) gas dehydration with glycols systems with an introduction to and hands-on ProTreat Process Simulator (from Optimized Gas Treating, Inc.). This workshop will guide the participants to develop key procedures to design, simulate, and make informed design decisions. Different design case studies are included in the program!

In collaboration with Optimized Gas Treating Inc. (Texas, USA) and Omni Energy solutions (Egypt), a special one-day workshop on acid gas removal and carbon capture process will be held on Dec. 2nd, 2024 in Cairo, Egypt. This training will cover designing and simulating of these processes with introduction to ProTreat Process Simulator (from Optimized Gas Treating, Inc.). A number of real design cases will be included such as:

• Removing Carbon Dioxide from the exhaust gas of One-through steam generator (OTSG) within a heavy oil production facility (SAGD) (FEED Study) 

• Acid Gas Removal Unit in a natural gas processing facility (Existing Facility)

• Removing Carbon Dioxide from Syngas in Ammonia Plant (Existing Facility).

• Removing Carbon Dioxide from the exhaust gas of a power plant (Existing Facility) - "Redesign of Boundary Dam Carbon Capture Plant based on a generic system".
